สภาพการเตรียมเด็กวัยอนุบาลเพื่อเข้าศึกษาต่อชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ในกรุงเทพมหานคร / ศศิธร วิชิราภรณ์ = State of preparing preschool children for entering Prathom Suksa One in Bangkok metropolis / Sasithorn Vichiraporn
The purpose of this research is to study the state of preparing preschool children for entering Prathom Suksa One in Bangkok Metropolis. The samples were 54 school administrators, 54 kindergarten teacher class 3 and 108 parents. They were selected by multi – stage random sampling method from kindergarten schools which offer kindergarten 1-3 classes during the 1994 academic year. The research instrument was the structure interviewed form enquiring about goals, policies, supports, activity in preparing of preschool children for entering Prathom Suksa One. The findings revealed that administrators of kindergarten schools have policy for preparing preschool children class 3 to enter Prathom Suksa One by providing classroom teachers to teach special learning both in classroom periods and other period. Most of classroom teachers would teach special learning one by one at children’s house and gave writing and reading Thai languages examination to children, then gave the correct answers. Both of teachers and parents had observed behavior of children while prepare for entering Prathom Suksa One and found that there were 23 problem behaviors in children. Administrators, teachers and parents agreed with the method of children’s selection by school zone or use the readiness test.
