ตัวแปรที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาพยาบาล ในมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ / ทัศนีย์ ตรีวรรณไชย = Variables related to learning achievement of nursing students at Prince of Songkhla University / Tasanee Trewanchai
The purposes of this study were : (1) to study the relationships between variables, with regard to student factors, socio-economic factors, and opinion on educational conditions, and Learning achievement of all nursing students in the first semester of academic year 1985 at Prince of Songkhla University, (2) to calculate the multiple correlation coefficient, (3) to find regression equation and (4) to compare regression weights in prediction of their achievement. Four questionnaires on learning styles, attitude toward nursing profession, the California psychological inventory and opinion on the educational conditions were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed through multiple regression analysis by using computer program SPSS-X The major findings were as follows :- 1.First year nursing students : the multiple correlation coefficient between the predictor and the learning achievement was .2252. The significant predictor was opinion on curriculum (X34) which could explain 5.07 percent of the variance in learning achievement. The regression equation respectively in raw scores and standard scores were : Ŷ = 1.5644 + 0.3915 (X34) Ž = 0.2252 (Z34) 2. Second year nursing students : the multiple correlation coefficient between the predictors and the learning achievement was 0.6121. The significant predictors were GPA in the first year (X1) social presence (X14) and father’s occupation (X29) which could explain 37.47 percent of the variance in learning achievement. The regression equation respectively in raw scores and standard scores were : Ŷ = 1.49314 + 0.5421 (X1) – 0.0247 (X14) + 0.1222 (X29) Ž = 0.5023 (Z1) – 0.2534 (Z14) + 0.1996 (Z29) 3. Third year nursing students : the multiple correlation coefficient between the predictor and the learning achievement was 0.6226. The significant predictor was GPA in the second year (X1) which could explain 38.76 percent of the variance in learning achievement. The regression equation respectively in raw scores and standard scores were : Ŷ = 0.8715 + 0.6417 (X1) Ž = 0.6226 (Z1) 4. Fourth year nursing students : the multiple correlation coefficient between the predictors and the learning achievement was 0.7645. The significant predictor were GPA in the third year (X1), opinion on curriculum (X14) and opinion on regulations (X37) which could explain 58.44 percent of the variance in learning achievement. The regression equation respectively in raw scores and standard scores were : Ŷ = -1.3586 + 0.8970 (X1) + 0.0432 (X34) + 0.0334 (X37) Ž = 0.6028 (Z1) + 0.2482 (Z34) + 0.1977 (Z37)
