The purposes of this study were to study addition techniques of Prathom Suksa Six students in schools under the jurisdiction of the Office of Bangkok Primary Education and to compare the addition techniques among students with different mathematics learning achievement. The samples were 90 of Prathom Suksa Six students in schools under the jurisdiction of the office of Bangkok Primary Education which were 30 of high, moderate and low mathematics learning achievement students. Research instruments were the mathematics test and the interview form. The findings of this study were as follows : 1. Addition techniques used by students were recalling. Of basic facts, sharing to ten and add on, count on, make double and add on, front end adding, expand one number and add on, make double and subtract on, expand one number and subtract on, count on by 2, and sharing and double adding. 2. Technique of recalling of basic facts were used most by students with high mathematics learning achievement. Technique of sharing to ten and add on were used most by students with moderate mathematics learning achievement. Technique of count on were used most by students with low mathematics learning achievement.
