The purpose of this research was to propose the model for the management of professional experiences to foster positive attitudes towards the teaching profession of Teachers College students. Major findings : 1. The major components of the model were as follows : (1) preparing students’ readiness before going to have professional experiences in elementary school. (2) using a good supervisory system (3) providing a good modeling from cooperating teacher in elementary school (4) providing the intensive course for enhancing attitude towards the teaching profession. 2. The steps for operating the model for the management of professional experiences to foster positive attitude towards teaching profession consisted of (1) pre testing the students’ attitudes towards teaching profession (2) need assessment (3) analyzing need assessment (4) setting up the program to foster teaching skills and readiness before having professional experiences (5) having professional experiences (6) providing outstanding cooperating teachers (7) organizing systematic supervision (8) providing intensive course for enhancing positive attitude towards teaching profession (9) post testing attitudes towards teaching profession (10) subprogram summative evaluation 3. The model testing findings were as follows : (1) gain scores on the evaluation of value of the teaching profession of the third year and fouth year students in the experimental group were higher than those of the students in the control group while there were no difference in attitudes towards the teaching profession, subjective norm and intention to be a teacher. (2) when compare by t-test group technique attitudes towards the teaching profession of the third year students in the experimental group were higher than those of the control group while there were no difference in subjective norm, intention to be a teacher and evaluation of value of the teaching profession.
