Describes the visit of National Security Command Mobile Development Unit group to study the farmers' associations and agricultural development on Taiwan. Responsibilities of the Joint Commission on Rural Reconstruction are outlined. Descriptions are given of the group's briefings and field trips dealing with land use and agricultural practices, the Land Reform Program, organization and activities of the Provincial Farmers' Association movement, a hog raising program, an intensive village development program, and activities of the Taoyuan Irrigation Association.
