This study was aimed to examine the creative process of 5 Thai film sound designers by analyzed 15 films including various genre. Researcher analyzed 3 works per one Thai film sound designer. The finding showed Thai film sound designers have 2 types: studio sound designers and independent sound designers. Studio sound designers present 1) first person view 2) clarity soundscape 3) non-diegetic sound while independent sound designers present 1) third person view 2) not using sound from library 3) experimental sound design. Identities of Thai film sound design are 1) sound design depending on Thai environment 2) identity of sound design in comedy film 3) sound design and superstition. Moreover, sound designers have to adjust themselves for different culture considering to 1) listening taste and 2) optional track (Extras's sounds)
