Herbal ball is traditional Thai folk treatment. Due to the increasing popularity in herbs among consumers of all ages, the demand for herbal ball products especially in Thai spa, both domestic and export, are dramatic increasing. In 2003, herbal ball was 1 of 10 herbal champion products of most value export in Thailand. According to the increasing demand of herb, Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research has already developed “Herbal Gel”, a new product from Thai herbs that remains effective in treating pain and swelling from arthritis,muscle sprains and bruises. We foresee the growth of this product so the company was established to produce and distribute herbal gel named “Herb Therapy”. From external analysis, there are still plenty of opportunities
for new entrepreneurs to introduce new product made from herbal gel into market. Our effective business strategy is differentiation by providing identity product with high-quality and value-added to ensure customer satisfaction to make competitive advantages for business. Moreover, fairness in human resource management is important for company. For the financial plan, the initial investment is 2 million baht from 2 sources which are 1 million baht from equity funding and 1 million baht from long-term loan. In normal scenario, company can make profit in the first year based on 2.72 years of payback period with 30 million baht positive net present value and internal rate of return of 106.21% that above 11.42% of weighted average cost of capital (WACC). Therefore, this project is very interesting because it can make profit and worth of investment for investor.
