This research has three objectives: 1) to present the concept behind feminism in contemporary Thai society; 2) to present the concept of Thai males towards Thai feminism in contemporary Thai society; and 3) to reflect the concept of Thai males towards Thai feminism in contemporary Thai society in the film : The Shadow. The research method included both cluster and accidental samplings. Research results showed there is a sense of equality between men and women by demonstrating that women are persons with a high degree of knowledge, confidence, and recollection. Results show that women are equal to men in providing for their families and that they are the most important person in the family. In addition, women are shown to play an equal role in all dimensions when it comes to politics, society, religion, management, family and sexual relations. However, this is in contrast to the thinking of the majority of Thai men and women who still see men as the person of authority and leader in Thai society as reflected in Thai films. Now, though, this researcher has produced a film with leading female characters who represent the new generation female in the eyes of men, which is that men and women are equal in all aspects. The character of a janitor is used to represent the past and former leadership role of men in society with women presented as prostitutes made available to service men.
