Prof. Hui-Wen Lu 盧慧紋 from the Graduate Institute of Art History, National Taiwan University will talk about the very first history of Wild Cursive Calligraphy in China in the late 7th and early 8th century along with its transformation from a magical act beyond human capability to an obtainable specialized skill, before turning into personal identity due to its great capacity for artistic expression.
