Introduction

Office of Academic Resource has exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Central Library, Taiwan on October 30th, 2018, with the understanding a Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies (TRCCS) is setup as part of its permanent collections. This resource center is located in the Thailand and ASEAN information Center, on the 6th floor of Office of Academic Resource, Chulalongkorn University


The TRCCS will be the platform to promote and share Chinese studies resource. The National Central Library, Taiwan will continue to donate books to enhance TRCCS. Furthermore, they also provide access to their digital resources as well as the e-database provided by major institutes in Taiwan. This resource centre beneficial to the faculty, scholars and students of Chulalongkorn University.



About TRCCS

In conformance with the Taiwanese government policy to promote Chinese culture with the characteristics of the nation, the National Central Library of Taiwan started to establish the TRCCS (Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies) in overseas academic and research institutes in 2012 with the objectives to build a global Sinological resource and information platform for Chinese culture studies in academic and research institutes around the world along with the aims to deepen the cultural exchanges and collaborations between Chinese and the world.
