Effect of Logging on Stand Structure and Species Composition: North Zamayi Reserve Forest, Tharyarwaddy District, Myanmar
Aims to evaluate the change of floristic characteristics, stand structure and regeneration potential of teak bearing forest in Bago region after selective logging in order to contribute the scientific findings to improve the silvicultural system applied to sustainable forest management at NZRF, Tharyarwaddy, Myanmar. Reviews tropical forest in the world, tropical mixed deciduous forest, and deforestation and forest degradation in Myanmar. Explains sustainable tropical forest management, silvicultural management system of tropical forest, and stand structure, species dynamic and natural regeneration in natural forest. Shows methodology and results and discussion of the study.
