Trend of Migration of Medical Professional Officers in Royal Thai Air Force under the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)

Presents a quantitative research to find root causes of brain drain among Thai medical professionals in Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) in accordance with the free flow of the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Studies decisional factors and attitudes of 356 medical professionals in RTAF who decided to resign and tend to resign during 2014-15 and compared to the resignation during 2009-2013. Reveals that opportunities from MRA or AEC do not influence on resigning decision, but unpleasant organizational system, insufficient income, career path advancement, and job difficulty remain the key reasons for resignation of those sample groups.
