Presents papers and case studies from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Sri Lanka proceeded to the 9th ASEAN Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences. Covers topics on education, learning through MOOCs, students’ participation in international cultural context, social work education, awareness of digital economy. Mentions environmental and social issues, such as “Fiqh” in Indonesian legal system, “Waqf” in welfare improvement, children in orphanage, sexual repression, prevalence of parental depressing, energy conservation, social innovation, sand winning, breast cancer, respect and disrespect towards elderly people. Includes business issues, such as performance management, banks’ case studies, and halal tourism.
