การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแนวปรากฏการณ์นิยม เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์ภายหลังกลับคืนสู่สังคมของผู้ป่วยยาเสพติดที่บำบัดครบโปรแกรม และยังอยู่ในระยะติดตามผล เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากผู้ป่วยยาเสพติดที่บำบัดครบโปรแกรม และยังอยู่ในระยะติดตามผล จำนวน 12 คน ประสบการณ์ทางจิตใจของผู้ป่วยยาเสพติด ที่บำบัดครบโปรแกรมและยังอยู่ในระยะติดตามผลจากการวิจัยครั้งนี้ แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1)ความมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจที่จะเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเอง ผู้ป่วยยาเสพมีความมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจในตนเองที่จะเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเองเพื่อคนสำคัญ เพื่อการเริ่มต้นชีวิตใหม่ เพื่อที่จะไม่ต้องไปติดคุก แต่ก็มีผู้ป่วยบางส่วนที่มี ความลังเลใจเนื่องจากไม่มั่นใจในตนเอง ความไม่หนักแน่นมั่นคงในจิตใจ ว่าจะเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเองได้ 2)ภาวะที่เกิดขึ้นภายในจิตใจหลังจากกลับไปใช้ชีวิตในสังคม ผู้ป่วยยาเสพติดมีรู้สึกดีใจและภาคภูมิใจที่เลิกยาได้ เกิดความความมั่นใจในตนเองในการกลับไปใช้ชีวิตในสังคมมีความสุข ความพอใจกับชีวิตในปัจจุบัน และมีความมุ่งหวังในชีวิต 3)การได้บทเรียนชีวิต ผู้ป่วยยาเสพติดเรียนรู้ว่าการติดยาเสพติดเป็นสิ่งไม่ดี เรียนรู้ถึงความรัก ความห่วงใยของพ่อแม่ และคนรัก เรียนรู้การใช้ชีวิตว่าต้องคิดให้รอบคอบ และเรียนรู้ว่าตนเองสามารถมีชีวิตได้โดยไม่ใช้ยาเสพติด ผลการวิจัยสามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางในการรับรู้และทำความเข้าใจประสบการณ์ทางจิตใจของผู้ป่วยยาเสพติดที่บำบัดครบโปรแกรมและยังอยู่ในระยะติดตามผล เพื่อนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการจัดโปรแกรมการปรึกษาเชิงจิตวิทยาสำหรับคนกลุ่มนี้ ให้มีความพร้อมทางจิตใจที่เข้มแข็ง ไม่หวั่นไหว กล้าเผชิญกับปฏิกิริยาต่างๆทั้งทางบวกและทางลบ เกิดความเชื่อมั่นในตนเอง ความหนักแน่นมั่นคงในจิตใจที่จะเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเองไปในทางที่ดี และเนื่องจากการตระหนักถึงผลกระทบจากยาเสพติด ทำให้สามารถกลับไปใช้ชีวิตในสังคมด้วยความรอบคอบ มีสติ และไม่ต้องพึ่งพายาเสพติดอีกต่อไป
The purpose of this research was to investigate psychological experiences of drug addicted patients during aftercare phase. The qualitative data was obtained through indepth interview from 7 participants during after care phase. The psychological experiences of the drug addicted patients were as follows: 1) The intention and willingness to improve themselves. The subjects reported that they intended to change themselves for their significant persons in life, starting new way of living, and not being imprisoned. However, some reported that they felt reluctant, inconfident and unstable in changing themselves. 2) Regarding the psychological state, the subjects who are able to quit drugs reported that they felt delighted and proud of themselves; gained more self confidence, more happiness, more satisfaction, and hope. 3) In terms of lessons gained, the subjects learned the bad affect of drug addiction; they valued being loved from their parents and the beloved persons; they learned to be more careful in leading their lives. Moreover, they learned to live without dependency on drugs. The results can be used to better understand psychological experiences of the drug addicted patients during aftercare phase, and as guideline for organizing the counseling program for this population in order to strengthen their psychological well-being, to face all aspects in their lives ardently, to gain self confidence for changing themselves toward growth and mindfully life, and to be free from drug dependency.
