A set of content analysis tables was constructed, containing five categories of library science subjects, namely, books and bibliographical control; library background; types of library and information resources; library education, training and research; and Thai Library Association. The results concluded as follows: 1. The authors consisted of 67 persons and 4 organizations. The majority of 31 Thai authors were female, while that of 36 foreigners were male. Of all the authors, 18 contributed two or more writings accounting for 63 (56.25%) of the 112 writings. The 59 writings (52.68%) indicated reference sources. The writings of 63 items were cited for 171 times in the writings themselves, and those of 60 items for 174 times in masters' theses on Library Science, Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University during the years 1965-1979. 2. The findings of the content of writings analyzed as follows: (a) For every ten years from 1908-1979, the majority of the writing of the foreigners emphasized subject content as follows: 1908-1950 National Library; 1951-1979 college and university libraries.
