CBDC in Vietnam: Challenges of Central Bank Digital Currency Implementation

Studies the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), which is a sort of central bank money, managed electronically, and available to the general public. Explains such a new kind of digital sovereign currency that is generally believed to be equal to physical cash (coins and banknotes) or financial institution reserves kept at the central bank. Discusses both benefits and key challenges when implementing CBDC in Vietnam, which is an emerging market and whose financial market is not fully developed. Provides a set of policies and pathways that may be beneficial for Vietnamese government agencies when adopting CBDC in the future.

กุหลาบเปอร์เชียในแดนสยาม

นำเสนอวัฒนธรรมเปอร์เชียในมิติต่างๆ ทั้งทางภาษา วรรณคดี ตลอดจนวิถีชีวิตที่ผสมผสานและปรากฏในวัฒนธรรมไทย โดยใช้คำว่า ‘กุหลาบ’ เป็นสัญลักษณ์แทนวัฒนธรรมเปอร์เชีย เปรียบเสมือน ‘กุหลาบไร้พรมแดน’ ที่งอกงามบนแผ่นดินไทย เนื้อหาในเล่มแบ่งเป็น 3 ส่วนหลัก ประกอบด้วยส่วนแรกคือศิลปวัฒนธรรมเปอร์เชียที่มี “รุ่งอรุณ” อยู่ในดินแดนมาตุภูมิ หากแผ่ขยายไปส่องสว่างในต่างแดน โดยเฉพาะในกรุงศรีอยุธยา ที่ซึ่งวัฒนธรรมเปอร์เชียได้ผสมผสานเข้ากับวิถีชีวิตของคนไทย และในที่สุดก็กลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของวัฒนธรรมไทย ส่วนที่ 2 เป็นบทวิเคราะห์วรรณคดีเปอร์เชียที่ชาวสยามรู้จักผ่านจากชาวเปอร์เชียที่เดินทางเข้ามายังสยามและนำ “กุหลาบวัฒนธรรม” จากเปอร์เชียมาปลูกบนแผ่นดินใหม่ด้วย ส่วนบทท้ายเป็นการวิเคราะห์ศัพท์เปอร์เชียที่ปรากฏในภาษาไทย แบ่งเป็นหมวดเสื้อผ้าอาภรณ์ ข้าวของเครื่องใช้ ผู้คน และการปรุงรสปรุงสุคนธ์ ซึ่งหมายถึงเครื่องหอม การทำยา และส่วนประกอบอาหาร

Digital grooming : discourses of manipulation in cyber-crime
