Border Radio: Its Roles in the Relationship between Thailand and Neighboring Countries

Focuses on positive impacts of border radio in terms of enhancing foreign relations between Thailand and neighboring countries, covering Lao PDR, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Investigates importance of border radio perceived by people in each connected area, audience’s behaviors in either receiving or rejecting the border radio. Analyzes preferable and non-preferable roles of the border radio as to promote boundary relations. Suggests communication formats and participatory international communication that should be deployed by the border radio.
