- All academic staff in
the fields.
- Students and researchers
who are preparing thesis
or who are doing other academic research for which
the holdings of the EDC are a necessary source.
- Exceptionally, the Director
of the Centers of Academic
Resources may authorize access for short periods to other users.
- Academic staff need
only present their university identification.
- Potential users will
be allowed to consult the Library, guides, catalogues and
collections for a period of one day with the authorization of a senior librarian
on duty.
- Should they decide to
request permission to use the Library for a longer period, they
will be required to fill in the application form and to return it to the library
together with
a letter of presentation signed by their supervisor which indicates the subject
matter of their research.
- Renewals are possible.
As a general rule, external user cards are issued for a period
of up to 2 months. Two renewals may be granted on the the basis of a new letter
of presentation each time.
External
users are required to respect all rules of the Centers of Academic Resources.
Externals users, once admitted, may use all services of the EDC with the exception
of loans services, the interlibrary loans service and external database interrogation.
Photocopying services are available.
