With the introduction of EndNote Web in late 2006, all ISI Web of Knowledge customers can have unlimited number of simultaneous users. There was no longer any 3 or 5 or 8 concurrent users per institute limitation since mid-February 2007. Therefore, Chulalongkorn University and all ThaiLIS members can be able to get unlimited access to ISI Web of Knowledge including ISI Web of Science with 3 Citation Databases, namely Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI), Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI Extended), and Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), supported by the Office of Information Technology Administration for Educational Development (สำนักงานบริหารเทคโนโลยีเพื่อการพัฒนาการศึกษา - UniNet members) under the Commission on Higher Education (CHE or สกอ. - สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอุดมศึกษา).
Good news that Chula users can access more years of coverage, back to 1993, with the fact that the Center of Academic Resources (CAR or สถาบันวิทยบริการ) has subscribed to ISI databases more than 15 years. Moreover, CAR has also subscribed to 2 Chemistry Databases, and 2 editions of ISI Journal Citation Reports.
In August/September 2008 we are very pleased to annouce that CAR made a purchase of EndNote X2 (Version 12) with unlimited access to volume licenses for the current Chulalongkorn University students, faculty members, and staffs on the CUNet. To install the EndNote X2 program on a single computer, please be reminded to e-mail: ruangsri.j@car.chula.ac.th for Password before installation.
