We
are very pleased to announce that CAR (ʶҺѹÇԷºÃÔ¡ÒÃ) have a site subscription to the online
version of The Chronicle
of Higher Education or "The Chronicle" starting in September
2006. Therefore, authorized users in the university community can get
access to the complete text of all subscriber-only content at http://www.car.chula.ac.th/curef-db/slist.html#social
and can sign up to receive e-mail
alerts of this Web site. The Chronicle does have several free e-mail newsletters that
anyone can subscribe to. However, please note that authorized users who
access with a Chronicle site license cannot
sign up for Academe Today,
The Chronicle's daily e-mail report, as it remains a benefit for those
individuals who have their own subscriptions.
The
Chronicle also publishes several news feeds in RSS
(Really Simple Syndication), including daily news. Anyone can set up
their desktop to receive RSS news feeds from The Chronicle and other
Web sites. This eliminates having to sign up for multiple e-mail
newsletters, or bookmarking and visiting multiple web sites in order to
stay current with the
news one is interested in. Chronicle RSS news feeds work well for those
who have access to the Web site.
