CU-GDLN is linked to the World Bank's GDLN through the Network
Operation Center (NOC) located at the World Bank's headquarters in
Washington, D.C. Since March 16, 2009, Tokyo Development Learning
Center (TDLC) has been operating as the regional technical hub to
provide technical support for the Asia-Pacific region. The
responsibility for connectivity is now allocated between NOC and TDLC
in order to increase and ensure the success of GDLN activities.
The network provides videoconferencing service at transmission speeds of
between 128-384 kbps through ISDN and 128 Kbps - 2 Mbps through the
Internet 2. Today, CU-GDLN's connectivity mainly relies on the Internet.
